No Money Down Low Monthly Payments Behind The Scenes
Here are some screenshots from the process of making the video - all the 3D was done in Cinema 4D, I used mograph to duplicate and move gears around, boole for some of the animations, but they were all done by hand. I always synchronise animations to the music by my ear, rather than using the sound analysis tools. Comping was done in After Effects - two images show the render straight from Cinema vs the final comped look.
I thought the name of the track would make for a great film title and so I did this short music video styled like an intro movie sequence, properly in an epic anamorphic format.

Playing around with Jellyfish.. modeled and animated in Cinema 4D, comped in After Effects.. You need lots of Particular to get the water busy and full of detail.
Animated logo I did as a quick job for FotoFors via Bobabobek. It’s got that Tron look&feel which wasn’t intentional - the guy said he likes flying camera, clouds & space, so I mixed that up in after effects, then created the logo in Cinema 4D, but it was looking a bit plain on it’s own so I was adding some detached bevels and wireframes around letters so it would sit in the composite nicely and suddenly.. it looked quite Trony…
Mirror Mirror - new film staring Julia Roberts telling the story of Snow White with a twist.
The video follows the Evil Queen surfing the web and exploring the Kingdom’s best social media.
I worked as a freelancer on design, animation and edit for this.
